Money Management Program

Money Management Program

Many Argus clients have suffered from long-term addictions and have had problems related to money management resulting in loss of shelter and/or utilities, homelessness, lack of adequate clothing and poor nutrition, etc.

Argus provides a Money Management program for individuals 18 years of age and up under which clients are engaged in one-on-one counseling on how to manage their lives on limited funding streams (federal and state entitlements, and entry-level jobs).

For many clients, Argus staff members set-up checking accounts (free to the clients) at major financial institutions, and then help the clients monitor the funds, pay landlords, and budget the funds while the client is learning how to spend their discretionary monies more appropriately.
