The New York City Rescue Mission exists to provide help and hope to the hungry, hurting and homeless men and women in New York City. We strive for the holistic health of those we serve through a wide range of services and programs including emergency shelter, food, social services, medical & more.
At full capacity, we sleep approximately 160 men and 30 women in dormitories on three separate floors of our building. Before resting comfortably in bed for the night, each guest is served a delicious dinner, a hot shower.

Program Summary: The Gathering Place Drop-in Center serves homeless men and women, 18 and older, 24 hours per day, seven days a week, year round. The center provides a safe, sanitary and stable alternative to the street, using an individualized and flexible approach to serve the hard-to-reach street homeless population that refuses the city shelter system.

Bronx Psychiatric Center provides a continuum of inpatient, outpatient and related psychiatric services with inpatient hospitalization at the main campus. There are two outpatient sites in the borough of the Bronx.
