Mary S. Taylor Program

The Mary S. Taylor program is located at 2015 Madison avenue New York, NY 10035. It is a 150 bed homeless male part 820 reintegration services program, funded through the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS). The services provided to the residents are designed to help individuals who lack a safe and supportive residential opportunity in the community achieve changes in their substance use disorder (SUD) behaviors within a safe and supportive setting.

The Mary S. Taylor program follows a harm reduction model, where it is understood the transition from active use to abstinence is a process which our population struggles with, all of our residents are encouraged to enroll in a licensed 822 outpatient service to address their substance abuse disorders. We encourage the residents to refrain from using substances. a plan of engagement is enacted to address the residents use with different levels of interventions.

We provide services through individual and group counseling, the group curriculums are evidenced based. We have memorandums of understanding with community based organizations to provide the following services to our residents:

Eligibility Requirements

Target population are referred through DHS, have an active substance use diagnosis or history of substance use, and their living condition impacts negatively on their ability to refrain from substance use.
